Molecular Biology Laboratory

The Molecular Biology Laboratory has started working as a central molecular laboratory in the Reproductive Sciences Research School to provide molecular services to research projects approved in 2016. Among the activities of this laboratory, we can mention the creation of a primer bank, quantitative and qualitative analysis of gene expression, analysis of micro RNA expression and their target genes, analysis of gene polymorphisms, determining the sex of animal embryos with the help of PCR technique in all types of tissues, cells, and reproductive fluids as well as in other tissue samples. It is important to note that this laboratory handles the ordering of primers and requested sequences, as well as the procurement of molecular laboratory kits required by researchers. Additionally, the laboratory has successfully hosted numerous extensive molecular technique training courses in collaboration with the Royan Deputy of Education.
